1.  What is your story of global collaboration? As a teacher? As a student?
2.     How important is it to have a global collaborative experience before leaving high school?
3.     In the school of the future, do you think ALL school levels (K-12) should have a global collaborative experience? Why?
4.   What are the advantages for later in life of being globally minded and understanding the world through connections with others?
1.       My story of global collaboration as a student is brief. This class is the only time that I’ve ever communicated globally. Well, I have talked to one of my friends that live in New Jersey when he was traveling the world if that counts. Otherwise if got a few Facebook friends that live around the country. When I first started to communicate globally, I thought it was cool, but then my shyness kicked in and I didn’t want to talk to people I didn’t know.
2.       It’s important to know about how to communicate globally before you go off to college because when you get there and have to start communicating with people around the world to complete a project, it becomes difficult because you don’t know what to do. I definitely think that this class has helped me a little; I still believe I have a lot to grow in communicating globally, but this was my first step to something greater.
3.       I strongly believe that the younger generation should start learning how to communicate globally, so that way it helps with their socializing skills in the future. Plus, it helps get them into the technology world at a younger age, but not as fast as a smartphone or tablet. I believe that global collaboration experience will help anyone learn to communicate globally in a smart manor.
4.       I don’t really understand the 4th question so I’ll try and talk about it as best as I can. I think that being globally minded helps you remember that people in different parts of the world might have a different opinion then what you initially think or that people in a different country might want to make slight changes to possibly make it better. That would then help you gauge as to what the people in that country want, instead of what you want.
